Returning Home

Written by:

View from the top of the Wallace Monument looking south across the meandering River Forth towards Stirling and the castle.

Nearly twenty years after I last had the privilege of calling Stirling home, as January turned to February I was thrilled to finally return.

It’s wonderful to be just down the road from my brother, to be able visit the local independent bookshops (particularly The Book Nook in Stirling and The Wee Bookshop in Dollar), and to once again see the moods of the Ochil Hills changing hour by hour.

I’m looking forward to connecting with Stirling’s creative community, to meeting other members of the local history society, and to finishing my second book in the location in which it’s set.
